So I have recently been recieveing emails from AppSumo and have been recieving excellent offers. Monday I took the plunge . . . they convinced me I should learn about Kopywriting. Basically I learned how to write better in order to make sales.
Don’t get this confused with better grammatical writing. This is about communicating to customers on a more personal level. It is also about writing in a format that catches people’s interests and causes them to read more, until you ask them to make a decision
. . . .one decision at the end.
Did you see what I did there? That is the kind of thing I learned, write simpler and in your voice. Forget the technical shit . . . oh yea and profanity is used to be funny and connect . . . who would have thought?
ANYWAY . . .
The guru of this Kopy is Neville (that’s his blog BTW) AMAZING!!
K, so I tried his method of writing for a client, a bar, because I thought I could get away with it there. It worked
. . . I got more interaction on it than I did when I posted the same deal the week before.
I’m not saying I’m a pro, he may look at it and laugh . . .hahahaha . . . but it made a difference. My point, I didn’t know how much of a difference words could make. I also rebuilt my website with this writing. It feels fresher, more interesting, and MOST IMPORTANTLY more creative.
